The social drama "A flower in the mud", directed by Nicolás Tuozzo and starring Nicolás Francella and which premiered this Thursday in movie theaters, tells the journey of difficulties that a primary school teacher from a deprived school goes through to help empower and develop the talent of a gifted student. The film features the acting debut of Lola Carelli, who plays Sofía, a poor girl who helps her cartonero father on a daily basis and captures the attention of the new substitute teacher of her class, a dedicated thirty-something who suspects that the student She has a much superior cognitive potential and begins an uphill path to place her in a dynamic that advances her abilities despite the misery that surrounds her. Written by Tuozzo and Victoria Benedetto, the film, which runs for 100 minutes, completes its cast with Enrique Dumont, Valentina Bassi, Cumelén Sanz, Alejo García Pintos, Diego Castro and Soledad García.
