Fernández described the ideas of La Libertad Avanza as "barbarisms" and "atrocities"

"Those who deny the dictatorship, the disappeared, the exiles, the torture, also want to do it with Argentine science because they are afraid of thinking," the President warned when leading the ceremony to hand over the repaired files of seven Conicet workers.

President Alberto Fernández questioned this Thursday the "barbarisms" and "atrocities" expressed by leaders of La Libertad Avanza (LLA) in the face of the next presidential elections and considered that "there should be a reaction from the entire Argentine society." This was stated when leading the ceremony to hand over repaired files of seven workers from the National Council for Scientific and Technical Research (Conicet) who were victims of State terrorism, in a tribute that was attended by family, friends and relatives of the victims. "I am very concerned that we have an electoral moment where we are discussing whether science and technology are important for national development; it seems tremendous to me. They deny the atrocity of the dictatorship, reinstate the theory of the two demons and defend the indefensible. This only makes them more atrocious," the President said in his speech.
