The Necochea and Tapalqué hot springs, in the province of Buenos Aires, just a couple of hours from the Federal Capital, summon an ideal destination to enjoy at any time of the year and make a weekend getaway between dunes and fields.

Termas del Campo, in Necochea

41 kilometers from the center of Necochea is the Médano Blanco complex, Termas del Campo, an ideal proposal for those who want a relaxing stay, among dunes and green fields.

The beauty of the environment is combined with the salty chlorinated waters of the pools that emerge at a depth of six hundred meters at a temperature of 38.3 composed of chloride, sodium, sulfate, calcium and magnesium. These minerals stand out for their decongestant, de-stressing, antiseptic, healing, toning, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and detoxifying properties.

The complex is open from Wednesday to Sunday and has two indoor thermal water pools, another recreational pool and two outdoor whirlpools; of a field spa with cabinets, state-of-the-art beds, a hydro circuit with sauna, steam bath, rooms with hydromassage and Scottish shower. For children they offer a playroom with board games, built-in, ping pong and outside, a square with games.

Upon arrival, visitors find the Nordic-style ranch house that was built in 1925 and belonged to the family of Alfredo Rasmussen, a Danish immigrant who arrived at the end of the 19th century.

The local art gallery, offices of the complex and the Rural Restó function in the house.

According to the Buenos Aires Undersecretary of Tourism, with the hot springs, this coastal destination diversified its proposals, it does not compete with the sea since the hot springs can also be enjoyed in low or medium season. "It is the tourist product that allowed us to start talking about tourism all year round in Necochea," said Matías Sierra, Secretary of Tourism and Productive Development.
